We highly recommend you check out the additional engagement and educational resources provided below. Between freelance opportunities and leadership training, these organizations provide meaningful resources for environmentally passionate youth.

Open Door Climate provides a comprehensive and growing list of 1,500 global climate professionals willing to engage with environmentally passionate youth and job seekers. Sort by location, expertise, and experience, and connect with climate professionals via LinkedIn.

Led by Vice President Gore and featuring advocates and experts from a wide range of fields, in-person and virtual Climate Reality Leadership Corps Trainings include specific programming for youth and post-training opportunities and networking. Their next training will be held in New York on April 12-14. All trainings are free.

Patagonia Actionworks provides a nationwide database of environmental volunteer internships and freelance opportunities. Filter by location, cause, skills, and length.

Project Drawdown has constructed a comprehensive library of climate solutions that reduce greenhouse gases by avoiding emissions or sequestering carbon dioxide. Project Drawdown also offers two intensive educational video series: Climate Solutions 101 and The Drawdown Roadmap.

Climate Changemakers provides political action opportunities in 1-hour time slots. They are a great organization if you are interested in legislative change, and are relatively low-commitment.
